Green apple arugula salad, 06.18.12
In the ultimate feat of domesticity, on Monday, I got off work at 6, hit the H-E-B (still not Hancock, because it still gives me fits), went home, and started cooking a three-course dinner for a small contingent of guests. If you know me at all, you know that this salad was the biggest risk of the evening, but I actually quite enjoyed it (don’t tell my mom; it’s probably only because I added candied walnuts to get some brown sugar and butter involved), and Christian pretty well demolished his portion.
Note also pan of rolls (not from scratch; I have limits) in upper left. Other two courses TK.
