Chocolate stout cake, 03.18.11
Rough day in the kitchen: Half of the leftover snickerdoodles burnt (note to self: dark pans on top, light pans on bottom, and get some new parchment paper), and the bottom quarter of this cake stuck to the pan, despite the fact that I brushed melted butter into all the crevices beforehand. On the upside, I was worrying about this photo turning out exactly like the last one I did (except with a Rogue bottle in place of the Young’s), and having to slice it up to make it presentable again solved that pretty quickly.
